Old Cameras
This picture is taken by our bookshelves. These old cameras are Kodak Instamatic 104 used in the last 60s and 70s by my family and produced in the US, left one Olympus AF-10 world's first fully automatic camera used from 1987 till 1995 by me. These were analog cameras. I would like to see your old cameras here!

My first camera was a russian Zorki, my first (and last) reflex a Minolta, my first digital a Casio. I still have the last two, but the reflex (and its lenses) is unused by years.
ReplyDeleteI used to have one of those Instamatic cameras when I was growing up! I don't know what ever happened to it though. I still have an old Polaroid camera from the 70s. Thanks for visiting and commenting on my blog!
ReplyDeleteI have my beloved Pentax K1000, which I won't part with. And a Box Brownie of my parents.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for your comments on my Anzac day post. I have been to Gallipoli twice (once when on tour, and once when I lived in Istanbul). It was a very moving and contemplative place. My grandfather was there in 1915, as perhaps was yours or at least the grandfathers of people you know? I am glad we are friends now. Ataturk's words about your sons being ourn now is very moving.
I would like to go back, but not on Anzac day - too many people, too much for me I think.
Wonderful - the Koadak is very iconic. My first "proper" camera was an OM10 (Olympus).
ReplyDeleteMy first camera is D-SLR, hahaha. But I still remember my father's old cameras, Fujifilm, Kodak (don't know the types). I used to play with his polaroid, unfortunately it got broken and never came back after he sent it to the reparation. You know, I always have the feeling to go find it back.
